So one has to be entered in the doubles to enter the singles race right? Does that mean you have to ay for 2 entries or if you enter the double are you automaticaly entered into the singles if you want?

Chris, yes.  One applictaion will see you race twice.

50 years and over seems like a reasonable starting point for a 'Veteran' class to me James, what do you and  the relvant SCA Committee think?  It is both your's and their hard work that put it all together and make it happen, so its up to you and them to make a final decision on the age.

Have you looked at the ages of the competitors on the 2008 and 2009 application forms?

There’s a small rule change which will be written up this weekend.
It’s in relation to those under 16 taking part in the race.
Under 16’s will be allowed subject to organisers consent &SCA REC Rivers Consent.

The draw has been made and the info is here http://www.etiveriverrace.co.uk

Paris and Pete are 21st
White water active are 8th

You'll notice that there is an 'A' & 'B'.  The teams will race first.  One the teams race from 1 through to 21.  The indivudual will race starting with 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B and so on...

Times will be confirmed this weekend.
